Republic TV has accessed visuals of Tamil films superstar Rajinikanth serving food and performing service to saints at an ashram in Rishikesh, where he is currently on a spiritual tour.
Speaking to Republic TV earlier, Rajinikanth had voiced his thoughts on the Himalayas and how they made him feel.
"The Himalayas is a place of saints. Pure water, pure earth, pure food, pure people."
"Whenever I come here I feel like I am reborn."
Republic TV also asked Rajinikanth about politics, a subject on which he has recently given mixed responses by saying he's not a full-time politician. He said: "No politics in Himalayas."
In political matters, however, also on Thursday, another party was added to the mix in Tamil Nadu as TTV Dhinakaran launched his party, the Amma Makkal Munnettra Kazagam (AMMK).
Rajinikanth's fellow star Kamal Haasan had earlier launched his own Makkal Needhi Maiam party.
