Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday met Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. The meeting took place in the lead up to the highlight of PM Modi's action-packed visit to the UK -- the blockbuster Bharat Ki Baat Sabke Saath interactive event at Westminster Central Hall where he is to take questions posed to him from across the world.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had met with the Queen's son, Prince Charles at an exhibition called '5000 Years of Science and Innovation'. The pair greeted each other warmly and shared a laugh.
PM Modi's engagements began almost as soon as he arrived in London late on Tuesday night as he held a meeting with Boris Johnson, the UK foreign secretary, who had come to receive him at London Airport.
On Wednesday, a breakfast bilateral meeting was held at 10 Downing Street between the Indian PM and his UK counterpart Theresa May. A joint statement was issued shortly after which, in a massive embarrassment to Pakistan, named and shamed Pak-based terrorist groups.
The Prime Minister also paid tribute to 12th century Lingayat progenitor and social reformer Basaveshwara whose bust he had inaugurated in 2015.
